Hi Tom,
If your coils are solidly blocked you might try one of our recipies.
(1) The water hammer. Connect a copper ( not rubber, not plastic, steel 
if you like) tube or pipe, 1/2 inch dia., about 10 feet long to a 
faucet. Solder a tee to the other end. One outlet from the tee goes to 
the blocked coil, the other to a normlly open solenoid valve, which 
discharges into a sink or a bucket. In operation, run the water to clear 
the pipe of air and then quickly close the solenoid valve. Stopping the 
10 ft. long column of water requires quite some force and few 
obstructions can handle it.and will open up.
(2) Get a positive displacement water pump, usually a piston pump. The 
pump may have a low pumping rate, but generates high pressure, e.g. a 
few thousand psi..Hook it up to the plugged coil. and see what it does.
