Greetings

As part of the Gray Cancer Institute relocation to Oxford in spring 2008, we
will decommission our 4MV Van de Graaff accelerator. As it will be surplus
to our requirements, we are seeking a new home for the accelerator. It is a
High Voltage machine, circa mid-1970s, in good working order and with a
supply of spare belts. It is unusual, in that it has two columns and can be
polarised positive or negative, although the electron source has been
stripped out. The positive beamline has 2x 90 degree magnets, sufficient to
bend hydrogen and helium ions.

We would prefer that accelerator is acquired by a new owner 'whole' but we
will consider offering parts and spares if no such offer arises.

Please get in touch if you are interested.
