[Sneap] water leaks Quad coils

David,
Many, many years ago, a small leak in a magnet or quad coil was repaired
using automotive radiator stop leak. They circulated a solution of it
through the coils for an extended period of time with a small pump until the
leak was plugged. As far as I know that repair was permanent.
