Subject: [Sneap] EN water cooling

In response to the question regarding the amount of water cooling needed for the

EN accelerator cooling ( Belt charging system ).

Here at Kansas State University before the installation of the our pelletron system the water pressure

at the entrance of the tank was approx. 70 PSI and the chilled water temperature was 55 to 60

degrees F. I cannot tell you what the actual water flow was through the cooling coil inside the

tandem due to the return pressure, etc. I can tell you that our normal return pressure in our chiller

system is 15 PSI.
