[Sneap] SNEAP 2008 - First (official) announcement

Greetings!

 

As you all know by now (from that omnipresent header in all the SNEAP
messages :-) ) SNEAP 2008 is coming in less than three months.

 

We are aware that there are a few other conferences in between,
especially CAARI, but I do hope that you start planning on participating
at SNEAP as well.  There will be a limited number of hotel rooms at
discounted rate available at Campus Inn which is located in the heart of
Ann Arbor and within walking distance to everything nice that the city
has to offer.  Also for logistic purposes we need to know (roughly) on
how many people we can count on attending and if spouses will be
involved.  Even if you don't pay the registration fee yet, please send
me an E-mail directly (ovidiu at umich.edu) if you intend to participate
and also if you intend to give a presentation.

 

The SNEAP committee is now working to try to change a little the format
by offering a few invited talks in the morning that could address a
larger audience and at the same time to keep the friendly casual format
for the afternoon sessions.  We'll see how this will work out and if it
will happen.  If you have other suggestions please voice them out either
to me directly or to the whole SNEAP community.

interested in attending our conference, please send them the info or
give them the web location of the conference:

soon prepare a flyer that will be sent out to all of you.
