Paul,
He-3 suppliers dwell on the purity of this isotope. If you could
tolerate the presence of He-4, you should be able to get lower percentage
He-3 to He-4 at a much reduced price. What surprized me when we, at
Vanderbilt, were in the process of ordering this gas, that the percentage of
gases other than He was the same for all grades of 3-He. We didn't care if
there was 5% He-4 in the mixture, as long as the other common gases were
absent.
