We did have a little bit of success by placing lead bricks on the intermediate piping, but this probably won't do much if your pump is right on the chamber.

Subject: [Sneap] Vibration attenuation
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings!
We are now trying to do some irradiation of a very sensitive material and we are following the creep rate with an extensometer. However, due to the fact that we have cryo-pumps installed in the chamber and on the beamline, there is a small vibration coming from the cryopumps that we need to get rid of. Aside from moving to a different pumping system, do any of you have any experience/suggestions about removing the vibrations in the chambers or beamlines?
Thanks you ,
Ovidiu
