[Sneap] Vibration attenuation

If you can tolerate the hit in conductance and expense, an effective 
method is to isolate the pump from the chamber with a 90 degree fitting 
and two bellows, one between the 90 and the chamber, and the other 
between the 90 and the pump.  The 90 is then anchored solidly, either by 
mounting to something massive, or I've seen it buried in sand.

Not my idea.  See chapter 3.3 of Experimental Techniques in Condensed 
Matter Physics, ISBN 0-201-360783.

I've seen this used successfully on a dil-fridge at the National High 
Magnetic Field Laboratory here in Tallahassee.
