[Sneap] A discussion Board for Sneapers

To the SNEAP Community,

    Over the last several months I have been working on creating a discussion board to enhance the access and security of data posted by Sneapers on the SNEAP mailing list.

The Discussion board uses phpBB3 as its base and I have integrated an image gallery into it to allow for uploading images and other data files to accompany messages posted on the discussion board. 

Both the discussion board and the gallery have search capabilities so that finding a topic or image of interest will be easier.

 

For now the board is on a server in our Lab.

If this works well I expect we could purchase a DNS name to make the board portable to any server.

 

Besides new discussion topics and photos, I would expect it should not be difficult to add archives of older messages as well as transcripts from SNEAP Meetings.

 

Anyone can access the discussion topics and most of the image gallery.

To be able to add messages and images you must be a registered member.

Some of the image gallery, such as photos from SNEAP events is only viewable by registered members.

Each registered member will get a personal album in the Gallery and Laboratory albums can be created for you on request.
