The last two times I bought 3He, I bought it from John Kilby at ICON 
Isotopes,

John had 3He when I couldn't get it elsewhere. As to how we run our 
source, we have traditionally run with pure 3He, but we have recently 
experimented with mixing with 4He to save a bit of gas. This seems to 
work well, with not much reduction in beam output, but we haven't run 
this mixture enough yet for me to form a solid opinion.
